Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff, KY, is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to support patients throughout their treatment journey. Working with licensed staff, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care addressing physical, social, and behavioral needs.

You will document clearly, adapt to patient goals, maintain shift continuity, and help sustain a therapeutic milieu. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and direct patient care experience or Nursing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in direct patient care OR Nursing Assistant Training/psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to patients under licensed staff directions.
• Completes all required documentation clearly and concisely, aligned with patient goals and treatment plans.
• Responds to patient factors and adapts clinical interventions to meet individual needs.
• Maintains shift consistency and ensures proper handoff to support continuous patient care.
• Fosters and assists in maintaining the unit’s therapeutic milieu.
