Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, or 3 years in mental health care/social service in lieu of degree.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a steady, supportive presence in patients’ daily lives, guiding meals, activities and programming while promoting a structured environment.
• Monitor and de-escalate situations using calm, compassionate intervention when needed.
• Build trust-based relationships through clear communication and encouragement of healthy behaviors and boundaries.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Admissions teams to support screenings and assessments from the start of care.
• Support patient independence and daily living activities, helping patients build confidence and progress.
