Join our professional team today. The responsibilities of the Mental Health Technician include:

• Participating in the development and implementation of clients' behavioral programs by providing care and close supervision of facility clients.
• Documenting behavior, developing positive relationships with clients and co-workers, following facility policies and procedures.
• Implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.

Qualifications

• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Work experience with children and adolescents and/or within a medical office preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.

Job Duties

• Document patient updates and behavior management.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Work towards treatment goals using appropriate tone and boundaries.

Schedule

• 6:45 am
• 7:15 pm OR 6:45 pm
• 7:15 am

Work Environment

The work environment is a residential facility setting. Employees may be exposed to clients exhibiting socially unacceptable behaviors, including inappropriate questions, profanity, threats, and other challenging behaviors. External weather conditions and local travel may also be encountered. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
