Responsibilities

1. Under the supervision of an RN, ensure patient safety, welfare, and assist with therapeutic milieu and treatment plans.
2. Serve as a patient observer on a care unit for individuals requiring observation to maximize safety.
3. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support efficient unit operations.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of collegiate coursework in areas such as psychology, interpersonal communication, abnormal psychology, or human development preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire.

Work Experience

• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
