Responsibilities
  1. Under the direction of an RN, responsible for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans.
  2. Serve as a patient observer on a unit where observation is required to maximize patient safety.
  3. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate nursing unit efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of collegiate coursework in psychology, communication, or related fields preferred

Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
  • Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire

Minimum Work Experience

  • One year of healthcare experience preferred
