Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in Conway, SC is seeking a Per Diem Mental Health Technician to support a therapeutic milieu and provide direct care, safety and supervision for patients. You will document behavior, assist treatment plans, and participate in crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• CPI Certification is required.
• Must complete 5 day Hospital Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to work, meals, recreation and education activities and supervise as needed.
• Transport patients to appointments and maintain safety and security with crisis plans in place.
• De-escalate aggression, use active listening, reinforce positive behavior and support admissions for screenings.
• Assess needs for clothing, linens and personal hygiene and supervise related tasks.
