Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician to support a therapeutic milieu and provide direct patient care. You will assist with crisis intervention, supervision, and implementing treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team at our Conway, SC facility.

Responsibilities include transporting patients to activities and appointments, de-escalating aggression with active listening, and ensuring safety and comfort for patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• CPI Certification required.
• Must be able to complete (5) day Hospital Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to work, meals, recreation, and education activities as needed.
• Transport patients to medical appointments and activities; maintain safety and security.
• De-escalate aggression and provide crisis intervention; support treatment planning.
• Assess patient needs related to clothing, linens, and personal hygiene supplies; supervise hygiene tasks.
