Three Rivers Behavioral Health in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support the clinical treatment team and ensure the patient program schedule is carried out. • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
• Two years of healthcare or behavioral health experience if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining a safe environment by observing and documenting patient behavior and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Follow patient activity schedules and unit rules to maintain milieu consistency.
• Record progress notes reflecting patient behavior for incidents and conditions such as suicidal thoughts, AWOLs, aggression, and sleep patterns.
