Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Mental Health Technician to support patients across treatment. You will work with licensed clinicians to address physical, behavioral, and social needs in a compassionate, hands-on role within the hospital setting.

The position involves documenting care, adapting to patient goals, and contributing to a stable therapeutic milieu across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience in direct patient care and/or Nursing Assistant Training preferred.
• Psychiatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to patients under licensed staff.
• Completes all required documentation clearly and concisely.
• Adapts to individual patient needs and goals during shifts.
• Maintains consistent operations and effective shift reporting to ensure proper treatment.
