Job summary

Universal Health Services, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, seeks a Mental Health Technician to support patients across inpatient services in Radcliff, KY. You will work with licensed clinicians to address physical, social, and behavioral needs, promoting a therapeutic milieu.

Responsibilities include non-acute care, documentation, adapting care to patient goals, and ensuring smooth shift handoffs while contributing to a supportive environment with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Experience in direct patient care AND/OR Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/previous psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under the direction of licensed staff.
• Completes all required documentation in a clear, concise manner, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.
• Responsive to patient specific factors and adapts to clinical intervention to fit individual patient need/goals.
• Maintains consistency throughout shift functions and through outgoing and oncoming shift report to ensure appropriate treatment is provided to each patient.
• Fosters and actively assists in maintaining unit's therapeutic milieu.
