Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to support patients across their treatment journey. You will work alongside licensed clinical staff to provide compassionate, hands-on care addressing physical, social, and behavioral needs.

As part of the patient care team, you will contribute to maintaining a therapeutic milieu, document progress, and adapt care plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience in direct patient care and/or Nursing Assistant Training or psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care under licensed staff.
• Complete documentation clearly and concisely, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.
• Respond to patient-specific factors and adapt clinical interventions to fit individual patient needs.
• Maintain consistency throughout shift and during handover to ensure appropriate treatment is provided.
