Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct patient care for psychiatric inpatients, support milieu safety, and participate in treatment planning as part of the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate's degree or 2 years of related training, one year of experience in social support services, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years of training. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social support services such as mental health, social services agencies, hospitals or education.
• Behavioral Healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Position Title: Mental Health Technician

Shift: Days

Status: Full-time, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Schedule: Twelve-Hour Shifts

Compensation: $19.00 — $24.00

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
