Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the provision and delivery of patient care on the unit and supervise assigned staff.

You will provide training and guidance to therapists and interns, manage the day-to-day unit schedule and activities, and contribute to the hospital’s quality improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with standards of care, mental health practice and policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work required.
• Two years of psychiatric-healthcare experience preferred.
• Active Texas LPC/LPC-A/LMSW/LCSW license.
• Completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission/HCFA, OSHA, and state/federal rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care delivery on the unit and supervise staff.

• Support hospital quality improvement initiatives.
