Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System is seeking an Assistant Director of Outpatient Services to support the Director in the overall operational administration of the outpatient department. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage performance and daily operations in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree specializing in a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the psychiatric/mental health field; experience in clinical/management practice preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Knowledge of The Joint Commission, Medicare, OSHA regulations, and other regulatory standards. CPR certification required. May require overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Outpatient in the overall operational administration of the department.
• Provide leadership in daily operations and performance management within outpatient services.
• Ensure high quality patient care and employee satisfaction; communicate effectively and coordinate with other departments.
