Job summary
El Paso Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Program Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in El Paso, Texas. The role involves direct patient care, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and treatment planning.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work, a Texas license (LMSW/LCSW, LPC-Intern/LPC, or LCDC), and at least one year of mental health experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work related field.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a mental health field preferred; direct care and/or family and group therapy, crisis intervention, clinical assessment skills and treatment planning.
- Licensure: Texas License in Social Work or clinical related mental health field (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-Intern, LPC, LCDC).
- Additional: Handle with Care training within 90 days; CMS, TJC, TAC, OSHA knowledge; flexible hours including some holidays/weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Perform crisis intervention and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment planning and conduct family sessions.
