Job summary

The Adolescent Wellness Academy is seeking an Adolescent Mental Health Program Coordinator for a part-time, remote role within Florida. This bilingual position requires English and Spanish and offers $17/hour during training and $19/hour after training.

In this non-clinical role you’ll support teens and families through intake, manage records, coordinate appointments, monitor virtual sessions, and assist with wellness check-ins, all while maintaining appropriate boundaries with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a behavioral health, clinical, educational, or related administrative setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Comfort working with adolescents ages 13-17 and supporting virtual groups.
• Sound judgment about the boundaries of a non-clinical role and when to escalate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Guide families through intake logistics, paperwork, scheduling, and program updates
• Maintain intake documents, attendance, census records, and other program records
• Coordinate new admission appointments, including psychiatric and IEP appointments
• Support virtual sessions by monitoring chat, helping teens navigate transitions, and troubleshooting Zoom
• Complete same-day administrative documentation and wellness check-ins as assigned
• Promptly alert the clinical team to safety concerns, disclosures, or changes in client behavior

About the Role

Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is looking for a bilingual coordinator to support teens and families entering our virtual mental health program. You’ll help families navigate intake, keep records and schedules organized, and support adolescents during virtual group sessions.

This is a non-clinical role with close collaboration across our admissions and clinical teams. It’s a strong fit for someone with experience in behavioral health, case management, education, or mental health administration who is organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable communicating with families in English and Spanish.
