Job summary

Zumbro Valley Health Center in Rochester, MN is seeking a part-time Mental Health Practitioner to cover weekend shifts and support our community. The hourly pay ranges from $25.11 to $30.13.

You will assess clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, assist with independent living skills, monitor medications, document status, and participate in treatment planning and crisis response. Join a dedicated team delivering integrated outpatient and residential services since 1966,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitateresidential program activities, classes and groups.
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

Job Details: Job Location: Zumbro Valley Health Center - Rochester, MN 55904, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $25.11 - $30.13 Hourly, Our team is seeking a part-time Mental Health Practitioner to work the weekend shifts. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder.

You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills.

Pay:

Pay: $25.11 - $30.13 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
