Job summary

LifeStance Health in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to act as the first point of contact for coordinating patient care and supporting psychiatric clinicians and patients both in person and remotely.

You will provide strong customer service, manage patient forms and telehealth access, and assist with ongoing patient communications and scheduling while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare operations or patient-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and accurate data entry in a HIPAA environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and support psychiatric clinicians and patients.
• Handle prior authorizations, lab orders, and records requests.
• Manage phone lines, telehealth access, and patient portal issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate when needed.
• Assist with external referrals and coordination of care.
