Job summary

Counseling and Research Associates, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive OT services to clients and families.

You will exercise professional judgment and collaborate with the therapy team under the supervision of the OT Program Manager to support treatment planning and client progress. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing routines for daily living and social skills, documenting thoroughly, and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current California OT license is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Identify client needs and orient participation in individual and group interventions.
• Provide activities of daily living, communication, socialization, and pre-employment related training.
• Create and lead mental health OT groups as needed.
• Complete and submit documentation (assessments, progress notes) on time.
• Maintain productivity per agency policies and OT program standards.
• Collaborate with Masada Staff, clients, caregivers and other clinical team members.
• Attend meetings, supervision sessions, and trainings.
• Apply ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.
• Schedule and travel to various environments to provide services.
• Demonstrate strengths-based approaches and independence in problem solving.
• Support community collaborations and in-service trainings as required.
• Supervise fieldwork students when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by OT Manager.
