Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (graduates before 2004) required.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Current California license to practice OT.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to fulfill duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and complete assessments and documentation within timelines.
• Engage clients in activities of daily living, communication and social skills.
• Plan and run OT groups as required by contracts and needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation including initial assessment, progress notes and notes.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and community partners; ensure confidentiality and safety.
