MSMU Adjunct Clinical Nursing Faculty in Mental Health is seeking part-time clinical instructors to supervise and evaluate nursing students in psychiatric settings across the Greater Los Angeles Area.

The role emphasizes BRN and CCNE standards, HIPAA/FERPA confidentiality, and collaboration with course leads and clinical site staff. On-site mornings/evenings/weekends possible; 8- or 12-hour shifts per site.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unencumbered RN license in California.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care in Mental Health nursing.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in Mental Health practices.
• Approved by California BRN per CCR Title 16, Section 1425.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and instruct nursing students on-site in psychiatric-mental health settings.
• Maintain BRN-compliant faculty-to-student ratios.
• Provide formative and summative evaluations and grades.
• Collaborate with Course Lead and other faculty to align objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and FERPA.
