Dungarvin is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator I to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. You will coordinate services, lead scheduling, and implement person-centered plans in a team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes direct support, documentation, and collaboration with caregivers and professionals. A baseline HS diploma and driver’s license are required, with preferred experience in behavioral health and residential settings.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience delivering behavioral health services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• One year lead experience in residential services or a related degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate services including finances, activities, behavioral supports, healthcare, nutrition, family involvement, education/vocational services, and household management.
• Assist supervisors with maintaining consistency in programming, staff communication, and overall quality of care.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Support implementation of behavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, and person-centered plans.
• Provide direct support and hands-on care during assigned shifts.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention for individuals with complex needs.
• Build professional relationships with individuals served, families, and teams.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, medication support, appointments, and community activities.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and communicate updates to supervisors.
