Job summary

The Guidance Center, a Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic, seeks a Clinic Administrator for the Leavenworth location. Lead access to services, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering community relations.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and Kansas licensure, plus at least three years of supervisory and clinical mental health experience. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant mental health field and state licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board required.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory/management role in mental health setting.
• Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Leavenworth Clinic operations, ensure timely delivery of clinical services within regulatory standards.
• Provide direct clinical services as needed to support access standards and crisis response.
• Supervise Clinic staff including clinicians, conduct staff development and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Senior Director of Client Experience and Office Manager for Leavenworth to support access and care coordination.
• Ensure productivity standards and regular chart/documentation reviews for compliance.
• Lead Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and policy updates as needed.
• Maintain subject-matter expertise on EHR, CCBHC/CMHC standards, budget, billing, and financial matters.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling or Doctorate in Clinical/Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
