Job summary

Arbour Hospital in Boston seeks a Premium Mental Health Associate to maintain milieu safety and support patient well-being. Scheduled Thursday through Monday, you will work with nurses and staff to provide compassionate care in a psychiatric setting.

You will engage with diverse patient populations, document changes, participate in groups, and uphold therapeutic boundaries while applying crisis intervention when needed. This role offers growth within a respected behavioral health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Preferred coursework in behavioral health, psychology, or human services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities
• Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs
• Provide trauma informed and age‑specific care
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques
