The role emphasizes trauma-informed, age-appropriate care and strong communication across a diverse patient population, with schedule coverage including evenings through Monday. A compassionate, attentive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• College students pursuing behavioral health, psychology or human services are preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Impeccable judgment and professionalism required.
• Ability to maintain composure in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting.
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behavior.
• Assist with patient groups and activities.
• Work with diverse populations to meet individual needs.
• Provide trauma-informed and age-appropriate care.
• Maintain therapeutic boundaries and crisis intervention techniques.
