Job summary

Open Door Mission invites a dedicated leader to serve as Men’s Ministry Assistant Director on the Omaha Campus. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure clean, well-equipped ministry spaces while coordinating with the Men’s Ministry Director on guest and facility issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in human services, experience in crisis counseling, and a strong commitment to church involvement and faith-based service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Experience case managing in a social service organization.
• Experience working with those in crisis, including addiction recovery and mental health.
• Ability to share the gospel and make disciples.
• Strong church involvement and spiritual maturity to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Men’s Ministry Floor Support Workers.
• Collaborate with Men’s Ministry Director on guest, staff, and facility issues.
• Maintain upkeep and appearance of Men’s Ministry spaces.
• Oversee guest, student, and tenant services by Floor Support Workers.
• Manage Men’s Ministry supplies and cleaning supplies.
• Lead staff meetings for effective communication.
• Provide emergency crisis counseling and de-escalation.
