Job summary

Columbus Technologies & Services is seeking a detail-oriented MEMS Fabrication Technician to support microfabrication operations in a cleanroom environment. You will operate a wide range of semiconductor processing and metrology equipment, execute critical process steps, and assist engineers with testing and troubleshooting to maintain device manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in electronics or related field; hands-on MEMS environment preferred.
Minimum 3 years operating semiconductor/MEMS fabrication equipment in a cleanroom.
Photolithography: operate spin coaters, exposure tools, and development benches.
Thin film deposition: operate PVD, CVD, ALD tools.
Etching: wet and plasma-based etching experience.
Metrology & inspection: use microscopy, ellipsometry, profilometers.

Responsibilities

Execute defined microfabrication steps for MEMS devices accurately and safely.
Monitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Perform routine calibrations and tool qualifications.
Document processing results and measurements in logs according to standards.
Collaborate with process engineers, equipment maintenance, and design teams to support integration and test runs.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
This is a full-time onsite role with significant cleanroom time.
