Job summary

Columbus Technologies & Services is seeking a detail-oriented Semiconductor/MEMS Fabrication Technician to support microfabrication in a cleanroom environment. You will operate a wide range of semiconductor processing and metrology equipment, execute critical process steps, assist engineers with testing, and help maintain workflow and quality for MEMS devices.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics or semiconductor fields.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor/MEMS cleanroom environment.
• Experience with photolithography, spin coaters, exposure tools, and development benches.
• Experience with PVD/ALD, PECVD, and oxidation furnaces.
• Experience with wet/dry etching and vapor phase etching.
• Strong documentation and data logging abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined microfabrication steps for MEMS devices in a cleanroom.
• Monitor tool performance and escalate complex issues to the fabrication lead.
• Perform routine equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance.
• Document processing results and tool data accurately.
• Collaborate with process engineers, maintenance, and design teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the cleanroom.
