Job summary

Columbus Technologies & Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support MEMS fabrication in a cleanroom environment at our Greenbelt, MD site. The role requires hands-on operation of semiconductor processing equipment and collaboration with process engineers.

Eligible candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field and have at least 3 years in semiconductor/MEMS environments; on-site, full-time position with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical technology, semiconductor manufacturing, materials science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on semiconductor/MEMS cleanroom experience.
Experience with photolithography processes and equipment.
Experience with thin film deposition and related equipment.
Experience with etching operations including wet and dry processes.
Experience with metrology and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

Execute defined microfabrication steps for MEMS devices in a cleanroom.
Monitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Perform routine calibrations and tool qualifications.
Document processing results and data in logs and trackers.
Collaborate with process engineers and design teams for integration and testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
This is a full-time on-site role, Monday–Friday, in the cleanroom.
