Job summary

A leading recruiting firm in Austin is seeking a qualified Memory Systems Engineer to join one of the largest chipset manufacturers. This role involves executing tests of memory subsystems and analyzing test data to support decisions for production. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering, and experience with oscilloscopes. This position offers a one-year contract with a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, and standard benefits.

Employment Type

Pay

85,000 to $100,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, functional, and system tests of memory sub-system test plans as part of a lab-based post silicon platform engineering team.
• Analyze and debug electrical and functional test data to drive into production SOC and system solution decisions.
• Develop technical test plans and tools to support platform level silicon bring-up and the validation execution.
• Supports lab functions including rework, inventory, & system test of platforms.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering (Advanced degree is a plus)
• 1 year of directly related experience
• Demonstrated experience with or knowledge using oscilloscopes, reading schematics and layout design files
• Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of engineering disciplines and management.
