Job summary

Foothills Retirement community is seeking a Memory Support Care Partner to provide compassionate care for residents with memory impairments. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, emotional support, and participation in social activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving experience, preferably with memory support.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health to nursing staff.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Participate in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
