Job summary

The Columbia Presbyterian Community, part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, seeks a Memory Support Care Partner to provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents with memory impairments.

You will assist with activities of daily living, support emotional well-being, observe changes, help with meals and mobility, and participate in social activities while maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, preferably memory support.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental health to nursing staff.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Participate in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
