Job summary

Franklin Park Alamo Heights in San Antonio, TX, is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide person-centered care in memory care and assisted living settings.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, receive dementia training, work a 2 PM–10 PM rotating schedule (4 on/2 off), and join a dedicated team that values independence, dignity, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Have training and/or experience as a Care Giver or have experience working as a Med Tech.
• Be very dependable.
• Have patience and the ability to relate to people with memory challenges.
• Want to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide “person-centered” care using a holistic approach to residents.
• Caregivers in memory care settings receive specialized dementia training.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dining, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transfers and ambulating.
• Encourage resident independence and participation, offering choice and control.
• Night shift caregivers assist with laundry and cleaning equipment.
