Job summary

Franklin Park Alamo Heights, located in San Antonio, TX, seeks caring individuals for a caregiver role in memory care. You will work a 2 PM–10 PM rotating schedule as part of a small- scale, resident-centered campus that offers independent living, assisted living and memory care.

You will support residents with daily activities, encourage independence, and participate in community programs. Training for dementia care is provided, and the team emphasizes a person-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Experience or training as a Care Giver or Med Tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care with individualized services.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dining, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transfers and ambulating.
• Promote resident independence and engagement in hobbies and community programs.
• Night shift duties include laundry and cleaning equipment.
