Job summary

You will supervise staff and collaborate with other department leaders to ensure smooth unit operation.

Qualifications

• BSW/SSD preferred.
• Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred.
• Management experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete MDS and other needed assessments.
• Manage staff and day to day operations on memory care unit.
• Run care plan meetings for residents on memory care unit.
• Ensure daily programming is taking place.
• Assist with daily programming when needed.
• Work with other department leaders to ensure smooth operation of memory care unit.
• Educate staff on dementia unit related to dementia and programming.
• As well as other duties that arise.
