River Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Loudon, TN is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our Memory Care unit. CNAs will support residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility while working closely with a caring team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain current CNA certification in the state

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' individual needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
