Job summary

Wesley Palms Retirement Community is seeking a Memory Care Assistant for a full-time schedule (Thu-Mon, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.). Pay range is $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will provide a variety of resident care services, support activities of daily living, and help ensure a safe, homelike environment while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care settings is preferred.
• Training as required by state regulations for care aides.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care activities to support daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility, incontinence, and transfers.
• Help with meals and feeding as needed and maintain food safety.
• Washes resident laundry and assists with bed making and light housekeeping.
• Engage residents in memory care programs and activities to promote autonomy.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes to the charge nurse and team.
