Job summary

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community in Escondido, CA is seeking a compassionate caregiver for the PM shift (3pm–11pm, Sunday–Tuesday). You will assist residents with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meals, and medication management in our memory care unit.

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check.
• Be responsible and self-motivated to work independently but also cooperative as part of a team.
• Have a caring attitude for seniors with memory loss and related emotions.
• Speak professionally and compassionately to families dealing with memory loss.
• Demonstrate reliability and follow-through.
• Pay attention to details and follow instructions to provide consistent care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide occasional light housekeeping and escort residents to meals.
• Serve prepared food and assist with medication management.
• Support memory care residents in a 24/7 secured unit as part of a care team.
