American Senior Communities’ Meadow Lakes Memory Care unit in Mooresville, IN seeks a dedicated Memory Care Support Specialist. The role focuses on person-centered programming for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to promote engagement and staff education.

Qualified candidates will have a background in dementia care and experience in long-term care settings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's or dementia in long-term care required.
• Memory Care/Social Services/Activities & Recreation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, and support person-centered programming for residents with dementia.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote meaningful engagement and education staff.
• Educate staff on dementia care principles and resident-centered approaches.
• Support activities and engagement opportunities to enhance quality of life.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and regulatory agencies to ensure high-quality resident care.
