Job summary

American Senior Communities invites applications for a Memory Care Program Coordinator at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers, IN. You will develop and coordinate person-centered programming for residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias, partnering with nursing, therapy, social services and leadership to promote meaningful engagement and quality of life.

You will educate staff and uphold Memory Care Program standards, leveraging CARE values and collaborating with regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with residents living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia in a long-term care setting is required.
• Knowledge of person-centered dementia care and best practices for supporting residents living with dementia.
• Ability to educate, observe, and coach staff on dementia care principles.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and supports person-centered programming for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
• Partners with interdisciplinary teams to promote meaningful engagement and enhance resident quality of life.
• Educates staff and upholds the philosophies and standards of the Memory Care Program.
• Collaborates with nursing, therapy, social services, activities, leadership, consultants, and regulatory agencies to promote resident care.
