Job summary

Colonial-Courtyard-At-Clearfield is seeking a Resident Services Associate to assist residents with daily activities, hygiene, and mobility, using memory care techniques to reduce stress and promote cooperation. This full-time role requires compassionate care and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities include room preparation, bedside assistance, personal care, and coordination with the Wellness Director. CPR/First Aid is required; aged 18+ may be required by regulations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English both orally and in writing.
• Ability to provide quality assistance to Residents in a professional and caring manner.
• Must be at least 18 years old per Pennsylvania Personal Care Home regulations.
• CPR or first aid certificates required; Home Health Care or Certified Nurses Aide certificate preferred; 12 hours of annual continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resident room for admission and orient resident to roommates and staff.
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care with dignity and empathy.
• Maintain infection control and cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas.
• Document accurately in resident records and MOVE N software as required.
• Assist with meals, laundry, and activity programming support in the absence of supervisors.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests and attend required trainings.
