Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is hiring a Resident Assistant (Aide) for Special Needs Assisted Living (Memory Care) on a Full Time Day shift (7a–3p). The RA provides compassionate care under supervision of LPN/RN and supports residents with daily activities and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication administration as needed, and promoting independence and dignity while monitoring safety and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy, and genuine desire to help others.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in senior care preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.
• Working knowledge of computers and electronic health records.
• Physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) with respect and compassion.
• Assist residents in taking medications as needed.
• Encourage independence and dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and report changes to the LPN.
• Consult with the LPN/RN on changes in health status.
• Build meaningful relationships by understanding residents' histories and routines.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
