Legacy Senior Living in Douglasville, GA is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant – Memory Care to provide personalized support to residents, including memory care needs. You will follow care plans, assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and respond to calls with a focus on dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, dementia care, or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with Legacy’s philosophy, policies, and resident rights.
• Support residents in meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Follow each resident’s individualized service plan and promptly notify supervisors of changes.
• Respond to resident calls and ensure needs are met promptly and respectfully.
• Assist residents with ADLs and IADLs and maintain safety.
• Check on residents every two hours and document observations accurately.
• Escort residents to meals and activities and assist as needed.
• Support dining services with meal prep, service, and cleanup; monitor appetite changes.
