Legacy Senior Living is seeking a dedicated CNA/Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to seniors on-site in Rome, GA. You’ll support daily activities, dignity, and independence while following individualized care plans and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in care for older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols.
• Must pass background checks and applicable state screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and calls—day or night.
• Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion.
• Escort residents to meals and activities; encourage social engagement.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with resident care policies.
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and daily comforts.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
