Job summary
Kingsbridge House in Brevard, NC seeks a compassionate Special Care Coordinator to lead Memory Care services, focusing on individualized care plans, staff training, and resident engagement. The role requires 2+ years in similar settings, nursing/healthcare knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Active LPN or RN license preferred (state requirements).
- Minimum of 2 years in a senior living, memory care, or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience supervising care staff and coordinating care.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate memory care programs.
- Lead staff training on memory care principles.
- Coordinate care with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and therapists.
- Engage residents and families through meetings and conferences.
