Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Director to manage the memory care neighborhood, oversee daily operations, and supervise the team. You will develop and maintain a diversified activity program seven days a week, engage residents, collaborate with Wellness Director on care needs, and communicate with families.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, staffing, compliance with safety policies, training, and representing the community in a positive manner.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of recreation field experience in a senior adult population.
• Driver license with clean record and HR driver policies compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
• Physically able to lift 40-50 pounds; able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversees memory care neighborhood operations and day-to-day activities.
• Manages and delegates tasks to team members within the neighborhood.
• Develops and maintains a diversified activity calendar 7 days a week.
• Collaborates with Wellness Director on resident care needs and clinical changes.
• Ensures staffing coverage, scheduling, and budget targets are met.
• Provides dementia and Valeo training to the team and participates in new hire orientation.
