Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Program Assistant (Finance) in New Jersey to support person-centered dementia programs and coordinate resident activities. The role involves documentation, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with the program team to enhance quality of life for residents.

The position requires a high school diploma (associates preferred), and a background with older adults or dementia is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and implementing a calendar of person centered dementia friendly programs.
• Review individual residents’ service plans and complete program documentation.
• Ensure dementia care programs comply with state, federal, and Brookdale standards.
• Provide guidance to associates on programming and engagement.
• Coordinate and participate in special events and family/open houses.
• Assist with volunteer program including training and supervising volunteers.
• Perform personal care, housekeeping and dietary responsibilities as needed.
