Job summary

Westminster Baldwin Park in Orlando, FL is seeking a Memory Support Coordinator to lead the Memory Support Unit, implementing evidence-based programs and coordinating admissions and resident services.

The role reports to the Health Services Administrator, requires a health-related bachelor’s degree, LTC/AL experience, and CPR/First Aid certification, with a focus on budget, compliance, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health related field, with at least two years experience. NHA, BSW, or Recreation Therapy degree preferred.
• ALF Core training and certification preferred.
• Must be CPR and First Aid Certified.
• Two (2) years LTC or AL experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the staff and manages interviewing, training, performance appraisal and adherence to department guidelines.
• Plans and operates the department to meet budget goals including occupancy and staffing.
• Screens and assesses new residents moving into Memory Support; coordinates admissions and stakeholder communication.
• Develops and maintains resident individualized service plans.
• Maintains program elements of Memory Support using evidence-based methods (Montessori Inspired Lifestyle, WCFL Memory Support Lotus Program).
• Oversees clinical aspects of care, medication dispensing and audits.
