Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Memory Support coordinator for the Memory Support Unit in Orlando. The role develops and maintains a Memory Support program, builds relationships with residents and families, and ensures compliance with regulations.

Reports to the Health Services Administrator; schedule is Full Time with a salary position. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a health-related field, familiarity with long-term care for older adults, and two years LTC/AL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or related area.
• ALF Core training and certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and ensure program goals and standards are met.
• Plan department operations and manage budget, occupancy, and staffing.
• Coordinate new admissions into Memory Support program with assessments and communication.
• Develop individualized resident service plans and Memory Support program elements.
