Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Mount Pleasant, NY, is seeking a compassionate part-time PCA to deliver care in a warm, home-like environment. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and supporting residents emotionally.

Shifts include Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays with various morning, evening, and overnight blocks. CNA/HHA/PCA license required; dementia care experience is preferred but not required. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/PCA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.

We are looking for a compassionate part time PCA to join our team! As an PCA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shifts available: Sunday and Monday 7a to 3p and 11p to 7a, Friday and Saturday: 7a to 3, 3p to 11p and 11p to 7a

PCA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:
